The carrier was offset in 64 due to the t-case, but the centered carrier from any Scout 80 or 800 from 65 and later would also work. I wouldn't go that route. I would use something more modern, like from a ramcharger, scout II, or any of several other vehicles.

      • I must know exactly which distributor you have, the point gap/dwell amongst all three are totally different, as are service procedures, etc. The firing order is 1>3>4>2 and ignition timing is taken from cylinder #1. If you keep this rig, a service manual will become a necessity , although we do occasionally post small extracts for customer service.
