Cant recall seeing it done yet, but I know of a guy that put a 72 Ford body onto a 2002 F-150 frame. Cab literally bolted right on with no modification. He had to modify the bed though, because it was sitting up higher than the cab. Heres the build thread for some inspiration with your project.
